Terminate
-
When I attempt to comment on WordPress hosted sites, using my primary e-mail account (@nc.rr.com), WordPress still insists I login, despite my attempts to change the e-mail address as part of an account termination. The account shows the “throwaway” e-mail address, which has already been thrown away.
I am confused and frustrated.

The e-mail address registered with your WordPress.com account is your unique identifier. There are two main types of email notifications that you’ll receive from WordPress.com. You may want to designate a different email addresses for each of these. The email address you used when registering your WordPress.com account is listed in:
the Settings tab on the WordPress.com home page, or
Users -> Personal Settings in your dashboardhttp://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/
If you attempt to change the e-mail address in your Personal Settings and find that it never sticks after saving the changes the e-mail address you are attempting to use is probably associated with another WordPress.com account.
