terminating a blog

  I don’t know how to close/terminate a blog. It is currently public. I would like it to not be public now, and make it public again later.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Q quite simple maneuvre that I don’t know how to do: I need to close my blog for public whilst reviewign the content. So I need to know how to:

  1. close it for public
  2. edit it (this I know how to do)
  3. publicize it again

  Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> view only by people you invite

  remember to save changes – that will keep everyone out

  Remember when you go public again the search engines will take several days or several weeks to recognize teh blog is not private. Don’t think you can turn a switch and get back on Google just the way you were before.
