Terminating Account

  I am trying to establish my own wordpress account. I had to create a blog for a class this summer and the professor created the account for each student in the class. I have asked him to delete the account previously, but he suggested working together on the account and I do not want to pursue that route. The wordpress account is for @claypoole1216, with the URL address as follows: http://claypoole.cfkd.org. I do not want to work with my previous professor and would like to terminate the site and remove my association with it as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for you help.

  Hey Blaire!

  It appears that the website you have given is a self-hosted WordPress.ORG site, not WordPress.COM. You can look at some of the differences here. With that being said your professor is the only one who can remove that URL and user because it is not managed by WordPress.COM.
