Terms of Service Violation Question

Hi wordpress.com users. I love my wordpress sites, but I don’t have one hosted by wordpress.com and there are specifics in regards to TOS violations, features, and copyright restrictions that are unclear to me. I’d much appreciate a little help. :)
I own http://www.usedpantysellingadvice.com/. A wordpress.com user started http://usedpantysellingadvice.wordpress.com/. Enough said, there.
One of my questions is in regards to the displayed blog feed for usedpantyportal.com, or Panty Hog. I feel a little uneducated for asking this, but, in order for the usedpantyportal.com blog feed to be displayed on usedpantysellingadvice.wordpress.com, does the admin for both sites have to be the same?
My next question is where I might find information on wordpress.com’s copyright restrictions/policies in regards to screen shot usage, as I do have screenshots of usedpantysellingadvice.wordpress.com. I don’t know if I will want to post them publicly but in the event that I do….

No, the admin does not have to be the same. Anyone who can subscribe to an RSS feed can display it in the RSS widget. If they are posting someone else’s RSS content to the main blog column, that’s a term of service violation and should be reported to (email visible only to moderators and staff) Staff take that very seriously.
They should be able to answer all of your questions.

This is something new it appears they have implemented and it is automatically redacting email addresses – or at least the support at you know email address.

Well, cuts down on us having to modlook threads to have the email addresses removed.
Has the forums been flakey for you the last day or two? About one out of ten times I click on a thread, I get a blank white screen and have to refresh – among other peculiarities.

Thanks for the clarification abotu feeds, guys! I’ve never used them before! it’s unfortunate that whomever created usedpantysellingadvice.wordpress.com did not read wordpress’ TOS regarding misrepresentation…but oh well!
I have a feeling that the rest of the posts don’t pertain to my questions…?

Also if you are logged in there is a gray bar at the top of the screen – click on the “Blog Info” and select “Report as Spam” – fill out the form and submit.
As noted above – WordPress.COM take copyright violations very seriously, they also don’t like sites that just display duplicate content from other sites.

Oh I see, so they are violating wordpress.com’s TOS in two ways- misrepresentation and duplicating for the sake of driving traffic to another site. I wonder if the folks at Panty Hog know this. Is it the Admin there that would have to report?
I try not to bother admin of sites too much and see if users in forums know answers first. I thought that maybe someone also knew of screenshot usage policies…..

If it’s your content that is being copied then by all means contact the parties that are copying your material, you can contact the site Admin. if they are not responsive you can also contact the host and file a complaint with them. in the Support section there is some more information on how to deal with sites that steal your content.

Thanks! You guys have been a great help! It seems that the feed’s still there but the content a LOT different for the same post date. The mystery has been resolved.
