terrible tutorials

    there is no way for me to write an introduction even though the template states ‘you are going to post a blog today . . . ‘ and I can’t write my introduction. I don’t want to be nickel and dimed to dead with this website. Please tell me how to do this without sending me built in tutorial files on this website.

    Hi there!

    You can go to My Site>Site>Pages and add a page with your introduction.
    After that, you can set this page as your homepage from My Site>Design>Customize>Homepage settings.

    Also, when looking for tutorials, I would recommend checking our official support pages here: https://wordpress.com/support/.
    You will find a lot of tutorials on the internet that talk about self-hosted WordPress sites which may be confusing :)
