Test New Theme without Committing

  I’m considering updating our blog (http://bcphotoadventures.wordpress.com/) with a new theme, but I would not dare to do so without thoroughly testing it first.

  Two possibilities and questions:

  Is there a way to thoroughly test the theme without committing to it?

  Alternatively, is there a way to easily copy my current blog over to my second one that I always meant as a test blog (http://bcpatest.wordpress.com/)? The idea of doing all the links, widgets, html/css bring shivers to my spine.

  Thanks in advance to any thoughts or suggestions on this one.

  You can use these links to export your data and then import it into a test blog.

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  Other than that, there is just the theme preview under appearance > themes, which is less than perfect.
