  I want to create a test site but I keep getting to dead ends. I am willing to pay for a plan but you keep asking me for information I. don”t have.

  I have started this process under my own Siteground domain name but kept getting to dead ends. I tried under my own name and got to dead ends. Now I have two accounts and only want the one where I can build a test site. Every time I try with xxxx.wordpress.com you keep asking me to select form a list of domains. I don’t want any of those domains. At this point there is no way to proceed.

  You can create a new site and use a domain you already own from here: https://wordpress.com/start/domains/use-your-domain

  Please note that during the process, you’d need to select an Explorer or higher plan to use a custom domain as your site’s primary domain.
