Testimonial Creation Help

  I’m using the Motif theme and I’m trying to create a new testimonial, but every time I make a new testimonial it won’t let me uncheck the “Show Sharing Buttons” and “Show Likes” check boxs. I uncheck them and press “Update” but for whatever reason in still shows the “Like” button. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  At the very bottom of your sharing page you will see ‘WordPress.com Likes are‘, select the ‘Turned on per post‘ option and save your changes. This should remove the ‘Like’ button from each post with ‘Show likes’ unchecked.

  Motif is still a relatively new theme and there seems to be a quite a few struggling to set it up how they want it, including the testimonial boxes. I’ve created a guide, with the emphasis on setting up the (very attractive) front page template. Hope this helps:
