  From a wp page, I am trying to call and display wp references (by referencing the general category slug. Example code:

  [blog posts=’-1′ style=’grid_gallery’ category=’ueber-mich-de,testimonials’ tag=” sort_by=’date’ sort_order=’DESC’ interval=’4000′ extra_class=”]

  – by which testimonials should be replaced with the correct category slug.

  What is the site you need help with? The site you’ve linked to is empty of content.

  If by chance you are talking about a site using the standalone WP software, you’ll want to post at the support forums at https://wordpress.org/support If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on that page.
