  Hello,

  The testimonials section of my homepage is displaying the page text and the tile. I only want the tile to show. How can one “hide” the page text?

  Hi there,

  You can do that by using the Testimonials shortcode. You can enter that code on any page you want the testimonials to be displayed. You can read more here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/testimonials/#testimonial-shortcode

  The code you need to use to hide the main text is the following:

  [testimonials display_content=false]

  Hi fstat,

  Where do I enter that code? What’s strange is the testimonials are displaying on the home page, but when I navigate to the testimonials page it says “No Testimonials found”.

  I’m not seeing any testimonials on your homepage at the moment, so I can’t advise what might be happening here.

  As far as “where” to put the shortcode, you need to use the Shortcode Block, then copy and paste that code (including the [ ] brackets) into that block.

  Thank you for all your guidance so far. I used the wrong terminology, it’s not the testimonials. It might be the excerpts?

  It’s the section across the middle of the home page with the three tiles – Calendario, Lo Que Creemo, Carta del Mes.

  I only want the tiles to display, not the text below.

  Hi there,

  Those are excerpts, yes, and specifically for the Featured Pages section of the Dara theme’s front page.

  The theme doesn’t have an option to control how those featured pages display, so the only to get rid of those excerpts is to hide them using custom CSS, and that’s currently only available on our Pro plan.

  But if you set a custom excerpt on those pages, that should display instead of the automatic one, so while you cannot remove the excerpt entirely, you can at least control what content appears as the excerpt.
