TESTORE button not working

Hi love logged on to my site again and a pop up has appeared in green writing saying ‘A previously-started draft is saved in your browser. Would you like to restore it? When I pressed RESTORE button the pop up disappears without restoring post. This has happened before resulting in two lost drafts. Can you help!! (email visible only to moderators and staff) Englishman in the South thanks

(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/
(c) Exactly what you experience including what any error reports you receive state.
(d) Screenshots are also helpful. You can use http://snag.gy/ to share screenshots and link to them here. If you use the WordPress.com guide screenshots https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it. -
Hi, when I log in to finish a post, a pop up appears telling me I have a draft saved, and offering to restore it. When I click RESTORE, the pop up disappears, and the draft does not appear. I am using Safari 6.1.6. Thanks for your help.

Usually that restore button will work well, but I have run into trouble if multiple tabs are open editing the same post. You will want to be careful of that – just use one tab to edit your post. I also recommend saving your post with a title sooner than later, especially if you like writing multiple posts at the same time in different tabs. Giving them each a name and saving that much will help your browser and the system know the difference between them.
I wasn’t able to find any recently saved drafts on this site, unfortunately. You can typically find them at https://wordpress.com/posts/drafts . But these tips should help for future posts. I’ve closed the other extra thread, so if you need more help with this issue, please respond here.
