  Can I add advertisements as text links, Is that is the meaning of affiliate links?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Correct – you can have text on your site linked to affiliate sites. We do not allow banner ads (images on your sidebar linked to advertisements or affiliate links). You can read more about affiliate links and what is or is not allowed at WordPress.com here:
