Text Align

    Hello,
I’m working on my resume page on my portfolio site. I’m wanting to have on the same line my job on the left, with the dates italicized on the right. I unfortunately don’t have the option of working with CSS as I’m not paying for that version. To work around this I’ve been using ” ” to create the space. But the problem I’m running into is that the dates for all my blocks aren’t all aligned in the same spot as you can do in a word document. The un-evenness is driving me crazy. I have tried using “style=”text-align:right;”” inside the em tag, but that doesn’t seem to work.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

As a technical person, you should know that spaces are probably a bad idea as the result will be weird when you resize the window or view the site on a smaller screen! ;D

That being said – I’ve just opened the Block Editor (personally I only use Classic Editor so I’m not great at those blocks, but I tried), added a “columns” block (in Layout Elements) – that gave me two columns and I was able to left-align text in the left column and right-align text in the right column. Maybe try with that?

Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll give that a try.
