text alignment issue
-
I can’t get my text on a page to line up, even trying to do it in the text field vs the visual field. It is with my ckbooks publishing blog, under about/christine keleny and the same text is under events/ christine Keleny.
Help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://ckbookspublishing.com/the-latest/christine-m-keleny/ appears to be the page with the issue.
Did you try removing the excess space via the Text editor tab, not the Visual editor tab?

Hello there Macmanx.
Yes I did, unless I don’t know how to do it correctly. It’s hard for me to tell what’s going on with all the computer text in there. I just shifted everything as far to the left as I could. The other lines I did this with below my problem words come out fine, I’m not sure what’s up with these.
A related question: is there an easier way to have single spacing vs double when you hit enter when you are typing on a line of text. That is part of the issue, I want single spacing, so for the address I have to hit the space bar to get the text onto the next line vs hitting the enter key which then makes the next line double spaced.
I’m sorry to be such a pain. It just looks so bad and this is my company site. -
I fixed http://ckbookspublishing.com/the-latest/christine-m-keleny/ and http://ckbookspublishing.com/about-2/about/ for you by removing excess spacing from the Text editor tab.
If you ever have to copy and paste between pages, do it via the Text editor tab to avoid things like this in the future.

That’s what created the problem. The spacing in the editor is not the same as in the blog’s theme, so what you though were enough spaces to create a new line were actually not enough.
To create a single-line break, hit shift-return/enter.
