text alignment while making a post

this is quite annoying. when i did some editing to my post the first line of every paragraph seemed to have got aligned to the left. I want the first line to be centrally aligned. Pls help. I space-bar-ed the first lines to the middle and saved it but still it stays aligned to the left.

You can try going to the HTML tab and then put
in repeatedly. It is the HTML code for a non-binding space and it should not be stripped out. -

You can also use this
<p style="text-indent:.5in;">YOUR_PARAGRAPH_TEXT_HERE</p>
and then adjust the amount of indent. Again it will have to be done for each paragraph. -
@tsp: Works both with and without; you just get the distance you prefer with fewer repetitions if you put regular spaces between them.
@aniche: You mean indented, not centered. And html doesn’t accept multiple spaces the way you might do in Word or any text editing application. So, to have your first lines indented, you can do as tsp says, or you can write your paragraphs this way (again in the html editor, of course, not the visual):
`<p style=”text-indent:.4in;”>TEXT_HERE</p>
(You can change the number to get the distance you prefer.) -
