Text becoming invisible on black background. Solution?

Text was visible before, but I messed with the color background and now the letters do not display properly. The categories also turned yellow. There is certainly a programming mistake, but I can’t find it by trial and error or in help. Are you sure reading text should be so difficult?

You have two choices. Either replace the dark background or purchase a cusom design upgrade and undertake CSS editing.

I’ll keep trying and report back. It was fine before, as I said, so it is a question of spending more time than money.

Problem created by combining black background in theme option with dark background in appearance menu. One or the other, but not both. No regrets.
