the text between symbols “<” “>” are not shown in the post. however digits between them are visible on the post. i have overcome this issue by using code. is there any better way ?

They are probably filtered as invalid HTML tags and stripped out.
Please try using the Visual Editor or use character entities, as you probably did already, to avoid this.
