Text boxes within pages

  I’m trying to create pages that have various text boxes in different spots on the page. I don’t want to use the text widgets because I want the text boxes within the page. Is this possible and if so how is it done. I can follow HTML code on a basic level. Thanks a lot, Melanie

  You can not use text widgets within a page, nor in a post, even if you wanted to.

  I’m wondering if you could use tables to put text (or images) into your pages? They are quite versatile for placing elements into a post.

  What exactly are you trying to do?

  @accomplishcom: A lot can be done with html (plain boxes, scrolling, colored, wide, narrow, with wrap-around text or not, single, multiple…) – your question is too vague to be answered. As Tess says, please be more specific.
