Text color?

  I don’t know what is going on with WordPress but all of a sudden I can’t choose the text color on my posts??? It only has default colors and I can no longer pick the green that I’ve used on ALL my posts since I started? Also, the pic text on my post photos looks like normal text and is no longer curvy text right underneath the picture.

  The pic text issue has cleared up but I still can’t pick my own text color on my post.

  It seems like, you are using the Dara Theme. I set up a page with the same theme so I can test the font colors.

  Indeed, with the Block Editor I didn’t find a way to use custom font colors. Only the preset ones.

  I was able to change the font color though with the Classic Block.

  When you are editing a post in the Block Editor, insert a Classic Block. Read more about it here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/classic-block/

  Within the Classic Block, you can change the font color to anything you would like.

  I can’t figure this out. I made a classic post and copy-pasted the original post into it but I still can’t choose text colors. I don’t understand why they would change it? It has always worked fine.

  The menu thing in the classic editor, I only have the first line. All the stuff with editing text like in a normal word document is missing so this has to be a WordPress glitch?

  Okay, I think I figured it out now. The text is green. But this was way harder than it needed to be. They need to stop fixing things that don’t need fixing.

  I am glad you were able to change the text color!

  Remember that the Classic Block is available within the Block Editor. You don’t have to use the Classic Editor in order to change the font color. Just insert a Classic Block as shown above and there you can find the font color option.

  Thanks, so am I. I am really bad a tech stuff as you can probably tell.

  I will see if I can do that in my next post. I just couldn’t deal with having to put new blocks into the post I had already posted.
