  Hi! You’ve actually posted in the forums for sites hosted by WordPress.com (here’s the difference.)

  That said, here’s what I’d recommend generally. To change colors of one tab / menu item in WordPress:

  – Add a CSS class to that menu item (here’s how) and publish those changes

  – Use Inspect Element to create your CSS for that item. Here’s how:

  – Copy that to your CSS area, make sure it works, then publish.
