"Text Enhance" Problem! Unwanted Ads!

Why are my posts suddenly having links to spam-type of stuff called “text enhance”??? I refuse to use WP if these ads are going to put themselves (or WP putting them there) on my personal posts. There are several words which, when I hover over them,bring up an ad.

Yes, that’s your fault.
“Text Enhance” is a side-effect of some browser add-on that many people have been using, and complaining about. Essentially, you’ve added something to your FF or Chrome that enables this company to spam you. Disable your add-ons and browser extensions and then add them back one by one to see which one is causing it, and then delete that.

Or it could be adware/malware that has infected your system.
A full security scan may be in order.
