Text fields

I am trying to change the color behind my primary text boxes because my Pastor says my background is ‘too busy’ to read the text. He wants a blue background…. I think he’s color blind! I officially have a migraine. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I like your background… but, rather than just him wanting a blue background, maybe he also wants a plain background, without the other wording behind the texts… although, I personally think it looks great…I’m not the pastor.

Oh, sorry… I’m not familiar with the particular Theme, but, most will have a “Customize” section to change background colors.

    Go to “MySites”>”Customize”>”Colors”>

I can change the background, and you are exactly right, he doesn’t like the words on the background distracting from the words in the primary text area. what I was hoping to do was figure out a way to add a semitransparent color to the text box to drown out the background, I don’t want to use a flat color, and haven’t found a texture I like yet. still looking! thanks for helping!

    sonsothinder,

I am looking for opinions. as of yet I haven’t figured out how to do what I want without screwing up the entire website (I am NOT a coder, it’s hit and miss at best) my pastor wanted a blue background, so I played around in Photoshop. If you have a sec could you please look at the site and tell me what you think? I fear the folks at my church say yes because they don’t want to hurt my feelings! If you have time, thanks, if not thank you for helping me out!
