text file links as part of post

  Is there a way to embed a link to a text file (say, a bio) within a post? I tried adding the Links widget, but it just seemed to make a big box over on the sidebar with my other widgets.

  Sure thing. I would create a new page using the Pages->Add New menu option in your dashboard at http://tommydunbarmusic.com/wp-admin

  Title the page and you can place in the actual text of the bio there.

  Then on the post, you can highlight text and click on the Link icon to create a link. Our support page on it includes screenshots and a video aid: http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/
