text hover fade in-out effect
-
Hi all,
This is my site http://propertyofproperty.com. As you may notice everything on the site (except for the tiny text on the top right hand corner) is invisible till you hover over it. This is intentional.
My question is, how do I make each hovered text section, fade in and out. I don’t like the immediate flash once you hover over an item. I want it to fade in as you hover onto something and fade out when you hover off. What kind of css do i add to the header and sidebar css etc? Can I control the speed the fades too?
Cheers
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

oh, and its only a right side bar menu with text widgets and a header that exist on the site at the moment…just in case you were lost in the grey.

This is not possible with CSS. Webkit does support CSS animations but I’ve never tried to use them as they will not work on most browsers, wordpress might even strip them out entirely as with certain CSS3 features.
The fact you had to tell use where your content is should give you a warning that visitors will have trouble on your site. If I load up a website and just see the title I do not mouse over the entire page just in case I find a link. I would really recommend having all your content show constantly.
