TEXT in pages wont change

    Hello,

    IN my pages I cannot change the text alignment. I am inserting poetry with different spaces. I cant get it to enter a line, as in start a new paragraph.
    Another strange thing is for the past hour I keep updating it after the correct spacing and editing, but the newest updated version does not have the corrections I made.

    Blog edtors do not work the same way that word processors work and cause great frutrations that can be eliminated by using an offline blog editor to create your posts in and to post them directly to your blog with. They are easy to use and the second advantage of using one is you will have a back-up copy of everything you publish on your own computer.

    If you wish I can we can provide coding instructions that you can use in the HTML editor to achieve what you want. However, IMO one of the best things about wordpress.com blogging is being able to just blog, without having to become a coder. So if you do not wish to use an offline blog editor, then please post again and we will provide links to several posts that contain coding solutions for formatting and alignment.

    Please be sure that you do NOT have this setting disabled > Users > Personal Settings > Visual Editor __ Disable the visual editor when writing

    Please also be sure that you have this setting enabled as well > Settings > Writing > Formatting
    __ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically
