text in post missing, but fine in editor

  Oh dear, I am truly lost. I’ve just updated to the 4.1.1 version and now my posts have gone missing from the site. They look just fine in the editor, but as soon as I click to see them, they only appear with the headline and no text at all. Why?

  Troubleshooting I’ve done includes disactivating all plugins but this did not change it unfortunately. I’m really in over my head…

  Also the overview of news posts have changed to only showing one instead of all – any help one this as well is much appreciated!

  Sorry to read you are having such a bad time but we provide support only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. That site is not one of them and you are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

  Thanks for the answer to my post of 3/27. pdan86’s problem sounds similar to mine, but I AM on wordpress.com. As I said in my follow-up to your answer, I still don’t get it. Please help with an incomplete post and deleting it so I can start over.
