Text in the subscribe button is invisible
-
We are designing a school newspaper and would like people to subscribe to the blog to get updates. We are using the woothemes theme called Fresh news and when we add the subscribe button the text inside the button is basically invisible and so not practical or visually appealing. Can you please make a fix for the theme, as it is unlikely that anyone who purchased this theme would like the text to look this way? (http://lfaschronicle.wordpress.com). I have another blog that uses the twentyten theme (a free theme) and the button looks great (http://alisonstuart.wordpress.com). Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We volunteers here don’t have access to the premium themes so because we are unable to experiment with them we can’t really help with your question. You have a link to the premium themes forum:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/premium-themesIMO, that looks like a bug to me. You’re right: not very attractive.

Hi Alison,
Thanks for your query. :)
I see you’ve got the background of the button set to “0” in your “Custom Design” settings. The CSS selector for this is:
a.button, a.comment-reply-link, #commentform #submit, .submit, .post.post-password-required input, .widget_blog_subscription form#subscribe-blog p input[type="submit"]Please remove the CSS for the above selector from your “Custom Design” settings and the button will display correctly ( this can be seen on our demo of the Fresh News theme at http://freshnewsdemo.wordpress.com ). :)
Thanks and regards,
Matty.
