Text input box won't expand on new post editor

I’ve had this problem a number of times in the last couple weeks. I’m operating in Google Chrome, it’s up to date and everything.

When I go to create a new post, sometimes the text input box for the body of the post won’t expand beyond a single line(it’s probably about 100-125 pixels in height, and the standard width) I can input as much text or images as I want, but I can only see roughly one line of it at a time. Within the box I’m also unable to scroll through the content. I have to use the keyboard arrow keys to navigate within the input box.

It’s weird. When it happens, often even refreshing the page won’t fix it. I usually just end up hitting “Publish” and then going back and selecting it from my published posts to give it a once over in a normal editing environment, aka, looking at it through a box that’s taller than 125px.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi milesblaine,

Sorry to hear you’re having difficulties with the post editor. We are currently working on a newer editor which will replace the older one and won’t have this glitch.

For now, you can resolve the small text area by dragging the browser window containing the editor smaller and then larger again which will force the text area to fill the available space.
