Text is auto – aligning center in Mantala theme.

    Any text I enter in to a post in the Mantala theme is center aligning unless I select the text and click align-left in visual edit. I’ve tried both pasters (text and word), tried the erase formating option. There’s nothing in the html editor that’s showing any type of style formatting.

    A pain, but not a big deal unless I’m trying to left-align an image within the text. It’s way too close to the image. When I try adding margins or padding to the picture it makes it worse. I even tried using negative margings. Nothing works. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    In Matala, when you choose image format, all contents will be center aligned and that’s intentional.

    I suggest to use standard format when you don’t want the contents to be center aligned.

    Thanks so much for the feedback! I can usually figure this kind of thing out but it truly had me stumped! Ha! Anyways, I’m going to have to double check but I think if I write the posts in standard format first, I can then switch them to image (perhaps even the other post formats) and it will keep, at least the original text formatting, the same…
