    Hi Mare.

    Did you copy and paste the content of your post from a third-party editor, such as Microsoft Word? I ask because there’s some extra HTML within the content that’s defining the colour of some of the text.

    If you’re not familiar with HTML, it’s a coding language that’s used across the web to structure websites. We have an introduction to HTML, which goes over the basics available here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/beginning-html/

    You can view your post’s HTML by firstly going to its editor. At the top-right of the editor, you’ll see two tabs: ‘Visual’ and ‘Text/HTML.’ Switch to ‘Text/HTML’ to view all of your post’s HTML.

    If you scroll down to the bit of text where you’re seeing the wrong colour, you’ll notice it’s wrapped with span tags that begin as follows:

    <span style="color: #2a2a2a;">

    The style=”color: #2a2a2a;” part is the bit that needs deleting in order for that piece of text to follow the colour change that you implemented for your site.

    Hope that helps! In order to prevent HTML being accidentally pasted over again, you can use the ‘Plain Text’ button within your editor to paste from third-parties. This button’s highlighted and explained further in this guide:

    Microsoft Word

    Let me know if you have any questions around that, or if anything needs clarifying.
