Text is running off screen after upgrade

    Hi,

I recently upgraded my plan to creator and notice that there is a negative margin for the entire page. Below are the solutions I tried:

    1. Changing themes. Does not work.
    2. Changing full width to other options. Doesn’t work. Please find below screenshot #2
    3. Disabled all plugins. Only Akismet and Jetpack are now active.
    4. Created new page and checked. Same error.
    5. Check on other devices. same error but text doesn’t run out of screen. It is lined at the edge of screen for iPad.

Could someone please help with this. I am not very tech savvy as to edit out codes, but any option changes or setting adjustments can be easily done.

I am unable to utilize the updated plan due to this error. Help!

    Thanks in advance!

I ran into a similar issue not too long ago after I upgraded my plan. Just like you, I noticed that the text on my page started running off the screen, which was pretty frustrating. I tried a bunch of things to fix it, some of which you’ve already mentioned, like changing themes and adjusting the page width settings, but nothing seemed to work. However, I found an option to add custom CSS directly through the theme customizer. I added the following line, which helped correct the margin issue: body { margin: 0 auto; }. This essentially resets the margin and centers the content without needing to edit the theme’s core code.

    Hi @chatchai3865,

Thank you for your help. However, I am still seeing the issue. Please find the screenshot below. Could you please confirm if that is the way to do it? I saved changes and it still reflects the same.

The CSS rule body { margin: 0 auto; } that you’ve added is intended to center the body content and eliminate any default margins by setting them to zero. If you are still encountering issues with a negative margin after trying the solutions you’ve mentioned, you need to look at more specific CSS rules that target the elements causing the issue. You can try to use the browser’s ‘Inspect’ tool (usually accessed by right-clicking on the page and selecting ‘Inspect’) to find the exact CSS rule that’s causing the negative margin. Look for margin or padding properties on the body or parent containers that might be set to a negative value.
