Text keeps pulling towards left.

No matter what template I use, my text always pulls to the left. Doesn’t matter if I center it, use code, try and tweak the settings of the template (which are usually hard/I can’t find). This has been a recent development and I’m sure it’s a way for WordPress to get me to pay. It’s so frustrating.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The alignment issue on your site is likely caused by a “Content Width” constraint in the new WordPress block editor rather than a forced push for payment. Modern themes often create an invisible central column for text, but if the Group block or the Template layout settings are misconfigured, that column can become pinned to the left, ignoring individual “center” commands. To fix this on a free plan, you should select your content in the editor, wrap it in a Group block, and toggle off the “Inner blocks use content width” setting in the right-hand sidebar. This removes the restrictive invisible container and allows your alignment settings to take full effect across the entire width of the page.
