text link

    In the new WordPress 6.3 it seems the text link process has changed.
    In a post I select a word to add a url link, the box pops up and I put in the URL.
    But the option to open in a new page is not there. I have to re-select the word and a pencil icon is now showing which, when clicked, opens the options I’m looking for.
    I’ve looked on other WP sites and it’s the same.
    Very awkward and seems wrong.

    Hey there, your site isn’t hosted with us, but I’m aware of those changes and of some work and ongoing discussion on how best to address complaints in the next release. You can read some discussion here if you’d like.
