Text not aligning

Hi there! I’m having an issue with my text aligning. I click on the center text option and it centers it in my editor, but when I view it on the page it is not center aligned. Please help. Is this a bug?

On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.
If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

I’m afraid that, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
