Text not displaying properly
-
Once or twice on each blog post, the displayed text goes way out to the right of the rest of the post. I am not doing anything differently on those pieces of text, but they do not display properly. How do I fix it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. I looked at several of your posts and don’t see anything like what you’re describing. Can you please provide a link to a specific post where this is happening?
It might also be helpful if you can provide a screenshot of what you see. You can’t paste images directly into the forum, but you can paste it into http://snag.gy/ and then post the URL it generates here so we can see your screenshot.

Here’s a link to my post from last night, where the text doesn’t display properly twice — once between the two tapestry photos, and again farther down, to the right of the photo of the church and steeple (the third to last photo in the post).
Here are two links to screenshots:

Oops, I forgot to post the link to my most recent post:

It appears the problem is browser-specific. In Firefox and IE I don’t see this problem at all, only in Chrome, and I see from your screenshot that you’re using Chrome as well.
I want you to try something: Edit the post, and everywhere you entered a double-space after a period, change it into a single space. Then update the post and see if that changes anything. It’s just a hunch, so let me know what happens.

I tried that, but unfortunately it did nothing.
(It’s interesting — I never took typing in school, so I don’t normally put two spaces after a period. But I guess my iPad does.)

When I looked at your post’s source code I say that each double-space showed a non-breaking space code in the html. I thought it might be that Chrome wasn’t rendering it correctly for some reason. Clearly I was wrong.
I’ll tag this for staff to follow up, as I don’t have any other ideas. Please be patient while waiting for their response.

This is very strange! What happens if you set the images to center align instead of left align? Since they are taking up the full width of your content area, it won’t impact how the page looks, and it could fix the glitch.

Glad to hear it worked. Since this seems to be an isolated case, I’m going to call this “solved.” If you continue to have trouble let me know and we’ll dig a little deeper.
