Text on blog (body text) is no longer visible?

    The coloring scheme on my blog has suddenly changed and I can no longer see the body text on my blog (only some of the link text shows up in a brighter color). I tried to revert this using the custom colors section but there’s no option to set the body text, only to choose a color for headlines, navigation or links. Can you please help me?

    Hi Kelly,

    Thanks for reporting this issue. There was an problem yesterday that affected font colors. An update was deployed last night which fixed the problem for some users.

    Did you have this same color scheme before yesterday? Try changing to a different color palette that has white text and see if that fixes your problem.

    Hi Kevin- I played around with the color scheme but the body font is still black, which is the color for the background. In my custom color screen I only see color circles for: background, headings & navigation, links, and site title. Is there a diff dashboard I should be visiting instead?

    Hi Kelly,

    Under the “Choose a Palette” section, try changing your color palette to the first palette in the second row. This palette has a light font, so when you make the background dark, you’ll still be able to see the font.

    Let me know if you have any problems changing it.

    hi kevin — I just tried that but there’s no black option for the background. so as soon as I “pick my own color” to set the background black, it changes the font to black and I can’t see it….

    Thanks for the update. You’re right, when I change the background to black, the text also changes. This is most likely related to the current bug we’re working on. I’ll make of note of your issue and let you know once we have an update.
