Text on categories

  My text on the right hand side including categories ,recent post etc has gone thick and horrible.
  any idea how i can change it back to being thin.
  My post text is fine

  You say the text in your posts is “fine” but look a little closer. You’ll have to locate the post where you used a “bold” opening tag and then forgot to insert a “bold” closing tag after the selected text. Because you have no “bold” closing tag the font in both the post and the sidebar following the open tag is affected. :)
