Text on uploaded picture is unclear on web page.

Is there anything I can do about the poor quality of the text embedded in the photo at
    http://gosto.wordpress.com/gosto-tothiwim/
    ?
I added the text to the picture using Paint. If I redo it with some other software that will increase the resolution, will that improve the quality of the image on the web page/

    Thanks

Increasing the resolution will help for sure, but I would use the original, add the text with another program and then save it as a gif as that seems to keep the best quality with the lowest size!

About the images, while I didn’t see any image with added text, regardless, if you link to a thumbnail and not the full-sized image, whatever is written will still be blurry. (Ah 1970-when I still had dark hair and didn’t have glasses.)

Also thought you might like to know that many people do not have MSWord on their computers, so your “Thoughts” DOC is reaching a limited audience. If anything, better as RTF or TXT.

FWIW, Open Office and its clones (NeoOffice on the Mac, KOffice in Linux/KDE and probably some others) can open .doc files. I believe Google Docs can handle .doc too.

But .txt is going to be able to be read by just about anything that deals with text. It’s just not always realistic to use the format.

Then maybe the issue is not about downloading a DOC document, but why one should have to do so to begin with? Just sayin’ :)

I started out with a set of about 50 web pages on another site, then found it was easier to keep most of them in one Word document using Bookmarks and Hyperlinks in the document that Word converted to HTML.

Is there any way to maintain multiple web pages in a single HTML document at WordPress?

    Thanks
