Text over an image

  Hi!!

  I’d like to know how I can put some text of a page in front of an image? I could only find how to left / right / center / etc. align images.

  Hi, @lagraciaphotography –

  I think this requires some customizing of your site. If you have a premium or business plan, you’ll be able to edit the CSS code to your site to try this.

  If you follow her directions, find the place to enter the CSS code in:
  – Left menu – select “Customize” (next to “Themes”)
  – Last item in the menu is “Additional CSS”
  – Copy and paste/ edit the CSS code in the window that shows up there

  There are also some plug-ins you could add to your site that would help you do this (Again, only with premium or business plans).

  If you’re looking for a specific image to have text over it, like your featured image on the homepage, then the easiest way is to pick a theme that allows that. It looks like your current site already has that set up!

  If you’re looking for something like a watermark, I think that will be easier in photo editing software, although I’m not positive about that. Here is a link with some options of softwares that do it: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-watermark-your-photos-493585
