Text over featured image

  Is it possible within the theme I use (Canape) to have text display over the featured image?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @crjohnsonltd!

  You’d need to force it into place a bit with a psuedo element. Here’s an example:

  .hero:before {
  	content: 'Your Content goes here';
  	display: block;
  	width: 100%;
  	color: #fff;
  	font-size: 32px;
  	text-align: center;
  	padding-top: 150px;
  	position: absolute;
  	top: 0px;
  }

  You can adjust the content, color and padding as needed :)
