Text shown to sender after having sent off message via contact form

    Hello,

I originally mistakenly posted this in the CSS Support Forum.

In my contact form I included a checkbox. If a user clicks it, it means that he/she would like to stay informed about my activities (talks, workshops and so on). If a user clicks the checkbox, he will see the full sentence followed by a “yes” (“: ja”.), when he/she has sent off his/her message. This makes sense.

But when a user does not click the checkbox, he/she will see the full statement in his/her sent off message without the statement “no” (“: nein”). This might misleadingly lead people to believe that they will get informed about activities of mine, though they did not check that box.

Is it possible to show a “: nein”, if a user did not check that box, or even better, simply leave out that complete statement?

Here is what it looks like after having sent off the message, when you checked the box:
    Nachricht wurde gesendet (Zurück)
    Name: Ansgar Gerstner
    E-Mail: [email redacted]
    Nachricht: test
Ich bin einverstanden, per E-Mail über Vorträge, Seminare, Veröffentlichungen von Ansgar Gerstner auf dem Laufenden gehalten zu werden. : Ja

Here is what it looks like after you have sent off the message, when you did not check the box:

    Best wishes,
    Ansgar
