Text size – different for different blogs – why?

The text on Chasewaterstuff’s Railway & Canal Blog is fine but on my second blog, Chasewater Railway Museum, the text is smaller – too small. Why please?

Hi there. Are you speaking of two different blogs (i.e. websites) or are you speaking of two different posts on the same site? I looked through the first ten posts on your blog you link here and cannot see any difference between the font sizes from one to the other.
Please provide the URLs of the specific posts or blogs/websites you are referring to so we can check them.

Thanks for providing those links. I’m afraid my internet connection suddenly dropped to glacial speeds, so I can’t get your sites to load, but I’ll keep trying.
In the meantime, try clearing your browser cache and cookies and see if that makes any difference. Also check whether it still has the display problem in a different browser. http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ Can you also tell us whether you have any custom CSS added to either site? That could be the cause if you have.
I’ll try loading your sites again in a while or another volunteer might come along with the answer, so please be patient.

Success! I managed to load both sites and they display identical in terms of text size on my end, so this could be a browser issue. Please clear your browser cache and cookies and also make sure you haven’t perhaps accidentally zoomed your browser view on one of the sites, causing it to display at a different size.

With Mozilla, my usual browser, still small after clearing browser cache and cookies.
Fine with Explorer

They display the same for me in both Chrome and Firefox. Have you checked your zoom settings? Firefox remembers it the next time you visit a page, so that could be the cause. Go to the page that displays smaller and click on the menu tab in the browser. Make sure the size displays as 100%.
