Text spacing – starting new sentences
-
When I type, I usually use two spaces after a concluding punctuation mark (e.g. a period). In the visual editor, I get the two spaces, but when I preview my post, sometimes if a new line starts with a sentence, I get a leading space in the left margin (using left justification). If I go in and edit out the bad spaces in preview, the post in full format looks good, but the mobile version still may have a different additional spacing issue.
Do I need to re-learn and re-check my spacing to a single space between sentences? I am using twenty-twelve theme, and my blog is:

“Do I need to re-learn and re-check my spacing to a single space between sentences?” Yes. The double space is extremely old-fashioned: it was standard practice back in the time of typerwriters, simply because each character including punctuation marks took up the same amount of horizontal space, and so the end of a period didn’t stand out enough. This practice has no place in modern typography, either printed or electronic.

Thanks. I still work full time for an outfit that wants documents done with “old style” typing, so it is going to be like my computer: PC at work Mac at home. Thanks for confirming my suspicion. Surprisingly I couldn’t find the confirmation in wordpress com support.
