Text Widget

  I am trying to add a google gadget on the sidebar and the text widget says it can do HTML and google says this is html but when I hit save, all the text disappears
  any help would be great

  We need a link to the blog please.

  If it is hosted here at wordpress.COM, then you cannot use that code. It is javascript, and that is not allowed here due to security concerns. Neither is flash.
