Add topic to favorites
I added a text widget now I want to open it add some htmlcode to have the moon phases showing in my sidebar. Why can I not do this?

If the code contains an embed, iframe, or javascript, or flash then the software here will strip it out to maintain security on this multiuser blogging platform. Here are the restrictions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

If you want a definitive answer then you can post the code between backticks and we will examine it. The backtick is found on the same key as the ~ in lower case. To be able to see the code you post is this way

Oh! I’m sorry I misunderstood. :( What is your operating system? Which browser and version of it are your using please? Have you tried these troubleshooting techniques http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

The recent AVG anti-iirus updates and Chrome updates have been causing some bloggers problems. Do you have AVG?

Also some have suggested this “click screen options” on the top right of your Dashboard and it worked for some users.

Yes I have updated flash and I am using the latest firefox. I do not have avg but I do have avira.

Well aside from force refreshing your browser and clearing your cookies and cache and signing in again I can’t help you. :( When this same thing happened to me awhile back I had to get Staff to fix it so I hope another volunteer may have another bright idea.
