  Hi,

  I would like to remove the text widget that appears on several pages of my website. I deleted from the widget tab in appearance.

  When I’m in the editing mode, I don’t see it. However, when I visit the website I still see it on several pages. Is there another way to remove this widget?

  At first I thought it was Lodestar’s default set of widgets, but I’m not able to reproduce this issue by removing the widgets from the sidebar on my test site using that theme. I’ve tagged this for Staff attention and assistance. Thanks for your patience while they get back to you.

  Hi there,

  This text widget for that theme can only be removed from the classic dashboard:

  https://wildornot.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php

  I have already removed the text widget. You can remove the search one as well and then manage your widgets from the Customizer.
