  I haven’t logged in for months… so I don’t know if they made changes or what, but the TEXT widgets have NO area to add any TEXT!! I wanted to update the info in my sidebar & have NO way to access it now, because the sidebar widget no longer has any writing area showing to write or ADD anything!!

  You had a similar problem about a year ago due to your ad-blocker, https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/widget-side-bar-not-showing-2/. Did you disable your ad-blocker? Also clear all coockies an browser cache.
