text widget

  I need to add some more text widgets to my sidebar, but when I add one and click edit on the admin page, the widget disappears!
  Can anyone help with this?

  It’s a problem with the text widget itself (I’ve been adding widgets a long time) but thanks for answering – as I said the widget goes when I go to edit it

  It’s ok-I sorted it out, I needed to save the added text widget before editing it.

  Sounds like a bug. You might need to contact staff.

  It’s an Explorer thing. Happens with 6 and 7 (probably 8 as well) and it’s been around since the big upgrade hit.
