Text Widget changes code when I save
-
I’m having trouble with the text widget changing the code I’m pasting into it when I go to save it. My blog is http://www.jonandphyllis.com & specifically the Feedjit & Pinterest widgets. I had the Feedjit widget ever since I started my blog a few years ago but now, all of a sudden the map is gone. I can still link to Feedjit in the spot where the map was but the map is gone.
Today, I tried adding a Pinterest “follow me” button & got a similar problem. I didn’t bother saving this on my blog until I figure out why WordPress changes the code on me.
The Pinterest code starts out like this: Phyllis I Turner
When I click to save, it turns into this:
Phyllis I TurnerPlease help! I’ve never had this problem until recently…maybe the last 6 months or so…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Well, that didn’t help…I pasted code in my message and it’s turned into links so you can’t really see what I’m talking about.

A lot of code from other sites is stripped for security reasons, due to the fact that WordPress.com is a shared environment. You can learn more at:
Have you tried enabling the sharing options that are built into WordPress.com? You can find them at Dashboard > Settings > Sharing. There is an option to allow readers to pin your posts to Pinterest.
Another suggestion would be to simply create a link to your Pinterest page like so:
<a href="http://pinterest.com/phyllisiturner/">Follow Phyllis I Turner on Pinterest!</a>
