Text Widget Disappears
-
I’ve been trying to add my text widget so I can add some html. I add the text widget, then when I hit “Edit” it disappears and moves back over to the unused widgets. Help!

That’s how it works now. Basically, you add the text widget, click to open it, and paste whatever you want inside. “Edit” means “Save”. It’s weird.

I just went back in, when I add the text widget, there’s nowhere for me to type my text. All that’s available is the edit button, which then makes it disappear.

Could you give us a link to your blog? This:

is not a WordPress.com blog and we won’t be able to help you with that. -

I’m having this same problem today. Very odd because I’m also having trouble as below (Publishing a new post). I’ve been using these every day with no probs. Now. Dreadful trouble.

The only way I’ve been able to work around the problem is to save the whole thing, even though the text widget seems to disappear. After you save then it appears, and you can click edit.
